I have been very busy this fall.

Between coaching soccer and running cub scouts with my son, I hadn't had much time to paint, game, etc.  Over the next few months I will be working on some 1/72 Napoleonics, Romans, and Barbarians. I will also be hitting my 10mm hard as I am running a game at cold wars.  Then there are all my space ships that need built and painted.......

Origins 10mm Game

I ran a relatively small game at origins with my freshly painted 10mm Old Glory figs.  It was set in late February 1814 near Nogent sur Seine.  The Austrians and Bavarians were racing to capture the bridges ahead of the French under Marmont.
Here is the table (8 x 4 feet) layout, with the Austrians and Bavarians approaching from the near side.  Part of the Bavarians are marching along the river.
Here are several more pictures:

A good friend of mine endlessly agitates me about my hobby.  To me, this hobby is a passion, a passion for the pageantry of ranks of uniformed soldiers, for endless hours of organizing and painting, agonizing over which unit to buy or paint next, finding great terrain as cheap as possible (more to spend on troops), and playing games with the perfect set of rules.
